The S&M 20th Anniversary party was nothing less than spectacular. Combine 500 half cocked BMXers with 1000 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon, factor in a shady box jump, Taj Mihelich’s band, a vintage BMX museum and about 50 screaming hot ladies and you have all the makings of a bitch’n party. Chris was hard to find, no surprise but looked like he was having the time of his life seeing all his old friends and old rivals come together in one common place. It must have been pretty heavy seeing all those people from his past. Heck, I only knew about 20% of the people there and it was still bizarre for me. Nonetheless everyone was having an insanely good time. The cops showed up multiple times but that didn’t stop the PBR chugging and ramp riding. I’m not sure how long Chris will have the S&M time capsule outside but if you are still in town it is worth the trip just to see an original Mad Dog frame. Pretty epic.
